New single ‘Endings’ is due for release on 8th June and is possibly their biggest track to date, it’s a song about looking at the past and learning from it, getting on and giving it all you have got. A song that fits into their ethos.
Radiates energy and positivity
From the very start this track radiates energy and positivity, there is a heartfelt optimism in the lyrics and their delivery, an underlying vibrancy that hits you with every drum beat. Its anthemic, a song for the Summer and has a chorus that fans will singalong to whether at a gig or at home.
Guitars ring out like bells
Opening with a pistol shot drum intro and a melodic guitar that chimes creating the template for the vocal which just shimmers and shines. Its classic indie/pop full of melodies and hooks that are instantly addictive. Guitars ring out like bells, they seem to wash over you creating a warm glow inside, a truly uplifting song.
Anthemic chorus
Its rich in texture, silky smooth vocals delivered with passion, this is even more evident in the anthemic chorus with added backing vocals giving a depth of sound that makes you want to sing. Its an inspirational track that has a real feel-good factor. A message of hope and optimism, not dwelling on what’s gone before but looking forward and taking the world by the scruff of the neck and going for it…and this is exactly what they have done here.
A depth of sound that makes you want to sing
It’s a glorious song from start to finish, its bright, full of colour, everything sparkles, the chorus is massive, it is guaranteed to have you singing along, its hard not to. Its one of those songs that after listening to it you get an added spring in your step. It really gives you a lift. Touted as been their biggest track to date, I have to agree, History was big in a different way, a step change in sound. Endings is Apollo Junction at their best.
